The Program Administrator for Work Life will be responsible for supporting programmatic activities that align and advance the organizational goals of the office. This position will provide thought partnership and operational coordination for the development of programs and events, the gathering of resources, the development of relevant material all geared toward NYU faculty and staff. This position will support the Program Director of Early Positionhood and K-12 Education up to 75% of the time, the remainder of the time the Program Administrator will support programmatic activities, event coordination and special projects as needed across Work Life's other focus areas. Please note this is a limited-term position through August 31, 2022, with the possibility of an extension pending funding approval.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree
Required Experience:
2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interest in P-12 education, child care industry, and supporting families with children. Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels in individual and group settings. Shows discretion and sound judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information. Creative and flexible thinker who is resourceful and adept at problem solving. Sharp critical thinking and proficient in using data to analyze trends and outcomes. Familiarity with Google Workspace, standard Microsoft Office software, Adobe Creative Suite, web design, graphic design, and web conferencing platforms.
