Program Administrator, Public Health Nutrition (Fixed-Term)

Working collaboratively with the School of Global Public Health (SGPH) academic programs leadership, manage the smooth operation of the Public Health Nutrition (PHN) Program. Manage in-person and online degree offerings, the PHN certificate program, and ensure School and University standards and guidelines are maintained. Manage student support and enrichment activities for the PHN program in collaboration with other academic programs within GPH. Plan, develop, and implement new and existing program and programming infrastructure in support of the School’s academic mission. In collaboration with Program Director, manage the daily administration of all academic activities, including office procedures, oversight of student databases, and ensuring the effective management of program processes. Manage program curriculum and course offering listings. Oversee planned events, including travel logistics for faculty, staff and students for recruitment events. Counsel and advise students on program and degree requirements. Conduct needs assessments and surveys, analyze data, and make recommendations for process or service improvement. This is a 24 Month Term Position.



Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree With concentration or course work in public health, business or public administration, higher education, or related field.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree In public health with concentration in nutrition or coursework in public health nutrition. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred.
Required Experience:
3+ years Working in a fast-paced environment with faculty and students in a higher education institution
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a public health nutrition setting.

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of internal and external people, both in formal and informal circumstances, and where necessary to gain their agreement and acceptance. Knowledge of diverse cultures and customs. Attention to detail with ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrates project management skills. Graphic design software (ie., Canva, InDesign, etc.) Event planning
