A part of the Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Texas A&M School of Dentistry  in Dallas was founded in 1905 and is a nationally recognized center for oral health sciences education, research, specialized patient care and continuing dental education. As one of the fastest-growing academic health centers in the nation, the Texas A&M University Health Science Center encompasses five colleges and numerous centers and institutes working together to improve health through transformative education, innovative research and team-based health care delivery.

What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • One year of clinic/practice experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than one year of clinic/practice experience.

  • DDS degree from accredited US dental school

  • Texas Dental License

Essential Duties/Tasks:

Administration of Pre-Dental Programming - Direct, plan, and manage SPEP Collegiate I and SPEP Collegiate II, ensuring that all phases of the program are well conceptualized and conducted effectively. mentor and advise SPEP Collegiate I and SPEP Collegiate II students during and subsequent to the programs. Pair SPEP Collegiate I and SPEP Collegiate II students with additional mentors (faculty, dentists from the partnering community dental clinics, and other dentists from the community).
