Job Description
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, Office of Research Computing and Data (ORCD), to provide comprehensive administrative and financial management for ORCD . Will represent ORCD leadership on administrative matters; manage ORCD’s financial portfolio, including preparing reports and monitoring and reconciling expenditures; create forecasts and advise the executive director on funding strategies; manage contracts with outside vendors; handle requisition preparation and tracking, variance report analysis, and development of financial plan recommendations; manage all aspects of communications, including drafting biweekly newsletters, creating content for the website, and coordinating updates to the website with the users; arrange and monitor engagements with prospective users, including tracking and processing action items, initiating follow-up discussions as necessary, and tracking open engagements; generate and track memos of understanding with end users, including processing any supporting financial transactions in coordination with the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) financial team; and receive and track requests from the schools and colleges related to start-up and retention packages for faculty members.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, computing, or a related field; at least four years of broad administrative experience, including financial experience in an academic setting; ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports; excellent organizational, project management, analytical, decision making, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; and the ability to work with diverse groups of people to meet deadlines in an environment of frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
