Job Overview

The Program Administrator coordinates day-to-day communications, alumni/donor relations, and events for both our Global Human Development Program and our Asian Studies Program . They engage regularly with both internal and external constituents to support critical work in both programs.

Work Interactions

Reporting to the Associate Director of Academic Programs of the Global Human Development (GHD) Program, as well as to the Director of Academic Programs of the Asian Studies Program (ASP), the Program Administrator works closely with the faculty, staff, and students of each unit, and with the SFS Dean’s Office and Finance Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of related professional experience - preferably at a university 
  • Proficiency in technologies related to the functions of the position, including Google apps, MS Office, social media, and marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication. 
  • Strong orientation to detail and deadlines
  • Commitment to professionalism and client service

Preferred qualifications

  • Interest in international relations
  • Expertise in South or Southeast Asia
