Job Description
Strategically plans, coordinates and implements the recreational sports program for campus community; recruits, hires, supervises, and provides leadership to student employees within recreational sports; drafts, monitors, and manages all recreational sports and physical education budgets and authorizes all program-related financial expenditures; markets and publicizes programs and accomplishments; develops and manages efficient operations and schedules for recreational sports facilities, open gym hours and events; arranges for maintenance and repair service projects with campus staff and outside vendors as needed; plans for equipment and uniform care and upgrades; coordinates physical education academic program.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in physical education
Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree with a Major in physical education
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in sports management, physical education or related field and previous work experience in recreational, intramural or athletics desired or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
