Position Summary:

The successful candidates will engage in the intellectual life of the Department of Economics through performance of scholarly research, teaching at all levels, and university/professional service.

Principal Duties:

All successful applicants will teach graduates and undergraduates, mentor students, conduct scholarly research, and provide service to the department, college, university, and academic community nationally or internationally.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Ph.D. in Economics, specializing in: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Economics, Public Economics, Labor Economics and/or Industrial Organization.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Tenure-track rank candidates must possess potential of making a lasting impact on their field of specialization. Candidates should have presentation skills which suggest future excellence in teaching at the under graduate and graduate levels.
Tenured candidates must show demonstrated excellence in research, as well as distinguished teaching at the undergraduate and the graduate levels.
