Professor of the Practice of Management

This individual will hold a faculty appointment as a Professor of the Practice (rank to be determined and subject to faculty approval) in the Management area at Fuqua. The Academic Director will be a part of the Management area and also work with the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty to provide intellectual leadership for curricular and co-curricular education.

The successful candidate will have academic expertise in the areas of teams and leadership, and experience delivering high-quality programming to students. Experience working with, teaching, and mentoring diverse groups is crucial to the role. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are essential given that an integral element of this position is interaction with faculty, staff, students, the media, and numerous constituencies within Duke University. Candidates must have a PhD degree or equivalent.
