Professor of Research Physiology and Neuroscience

We seek a candidate to work on contributing to collaborative research at Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) at USC in San Diego. This position will also lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.

The candidate should have a track record of independent research and participating in collaborative groups and projects in the field of Alzheimer’s disease translational research.

During this project the candidate will be responsible for the experimental planning and execution of the project and will be working closely with the other NTRD PIs and team members and collaborators during their research time. The candidate must be able to display strong mentorship skills for junior scientists/PhD candidates and must excel at oral and written scientific communication. The candidate should be recognized for their technical and scientific leadership as demonstrated by their publication record in leading neuroscience journals.
