Professional Research Assistant

Nature of Work
The work will focus on conducting experiments in further the laboratory studies focused on tumor immunology and tumor microenvironment.

Examples of Work Performed
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Lab maintenance, in vivo mouse work, running protein and immune assay, flow cytometry, flow cytometric analysis, PCR, immunohistochemistry, processing human trial samples, ordering supplies, ordering reagents, cell and tissue culture, other duties as assigned
Supervision Received
The PRA will report directly to Dr. Karam. She or he will work with other senior members to learn techniques and conduct experiments
Supervision Exercised
The PRA will not supervise other employees.
Salary Range:
The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $35,600 - $76,000.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- BS or BA required, including a semester of Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology
- experience working with mice, flow cytometry, cell and tissue culture, western blotting and co-immunoprecipitation, migration assays

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Eph-ephrin biology, knowledge of immunology
