Position Purpose |
Main Responsibilities: You will be primarily responsible for growing the UCM Career and Life Design Center audience and coaches along with brand visibility through the following activities:
- Assist the Professional Clothing Studio Lead with the organization of donations and promotion of the Studio
- Assist with the support of professional appearance for UCM students in the Professional Clothing Studio while also creating new initiatives and trends.
- Provide outreach to campus about the Professional Clothing Studio
- Assist with the planning of 1-2 events per semester that partner with employers, faculty and staff departments, and student organizations on campus
- Assist with the new hire process and manages the onboarding process for new PCS assistants
- Promote the Career and Life Design Center by attending and working semester events.
- Create awareness of the services available via faculty and student organization presentations and promote the Career and Life Design Center and Professional Clothing Studio.
- Help UCM students get connected, integrated, and engaged with their career readiness and life design.
Additional Responsibilities: You could additionally be responsible for the following activities:
- Peer support to the UNIV 3000: Career Readiness Course through preparation, integration of activities, and engagement/support for the students in the classroom.
- Peer support to the UNIV 1800: Life Design through preparation, integration of activities, and engagement/support for the students in the classroom.
- Peer support to the UNIV 1800: Design Your UCM/Design Your UCM-Transfer through preparation, integration of activities, and engagement/support for the students in the classroom.
- Co-host the Mules with the Mission podcast, plan episode content and run the Mules with a Mission Instagram account.
- Lead or assist with the spring semester THRIVE Career Readiness Workshops
- Assist with the organization of donations and cleanliness of the Professional Clothing Studio
