Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.


Unit Position Summary

The Gross Anatomy Lab Monitor will be responsible for opening and closing the Gross Anatomy Lab only for students enrolled in lab courses during open lab hours. Other primary duties include monitoring the conduct and activities of students while using the lab, including:
*NO VISITOR POLICY; if it is suspected a person does not belong in the lab, ask to see a valid student ID or ask the student to leave; obtain the student’s name and/or attempt to determine who they are with; call security if problems; notify supervisor.
*NO PHOTOGRAPHS, INCLUDING CELL PHONES
*NO ATTEMPTS TO COPY OR DOWNLOAD ANY ANATOMICAL MEDIA
*MUST MAINTAIN TOTAL RESPECT AND DIGNITY OF BODIES AT ALL TIMES WHILE USING THE LAB
*ENTERS HOURS WORKED IN EBS
*PROVIDES VERIFICATION OF STUDENT EMPLOYEE PROSECTOR’S TIME WORKED BY INITIALING THEIR TIME SHEET FOLLOWING THEIR COMPLETED SHIFT.
*COMMUNICATES WITH FACULTY, STAFF AND SUPERVISOR REGARDING ANY CONCERNS, INCIDENTS, GENERAL INFORMATION IN A TIMELY FASHION
