The Product Manager, Student Relationship Technologies, is a key player at UAGC, tasked with managing and evolving Salesforce products and other student-facing technologies. This role demands executing strategic initiatives, enhancing student experiences, and ensuring seamless, user-friendly interactions with our platforms. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency, strategic insight, and a first-principles thinking approach to problem-solving, ensuring innovative and effective solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy Execution: Implement the strategic product roadmap for Salesforce-based solutions, aligning with UAGC's mission and goals.

  • Collaborative Development: Engage with stakeholders to translate needs into product enhancements and innovations.

  • Backlog Management: Efficiently manage the product backlog, prioritizing high-impact features.

  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to ensure the delivery of superior Salesforce solutions.

  • Quality Assurance Support: Contribute to the QA process to surpass user expectations.

  • Performance Analysis: Utilize product performance analytics for continuous improvement.

  • Salesforce Advocacy: Keep abreast of Salesforce developments to maximize platform potential.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on industry trends to maintain and enhance the competitive edge of UAGC’s Salesforce solutions.

  • User Experience Focus: Lead UX design efforts, ensuring intuitive and engaging interfaces.

  • Data Management and Governance: Oversee data integrity and compliance within Salesforce, establishing robust governance practices.

  • Customization and Personalization: Develop strategies for tailored Salesforce experiences.

  • Integration Leadership: Spearhead integration projects with other institutional systems for seamless user experiences.

  • Training and Support: Design and implement training and support structures for Salesforce platform users.

  • Change Management: Manage and communicate changes effectively, facilitating smooth transitions for users and stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce, including customization, configuration, and integration.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to turn complex needs into actionable technical solutions.

  • Familiarity with change management processes and integration project leadership.

  • Strong communication and training skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the B2C or higher education sectors.

  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and data governance.

  • Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, specifically with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
