GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for processing applications to graduate level programs. Under the direction of the Application Operations Manager and the Director of Admission and Analytics, the application processor will:


Conduct daily activities that facilitate decision making by academic units, admission committees/faculty and staff through a web-based decision support application system.
Maintain integrity of application/applicant data by resolving errors with application data or system errors
Communicate and work in partnership with graduate admission staff to assist applicants with questions related to the application process and requirement for application submission.
Manage and perform ancillary admission services including admission material updates, applicant data entry, and other duties as assigned.
COMMUNICATIONS
Strong communication ability and comfort communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, as well as applicants via email and phone.
Must have strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office product
Must be detail-oriented results-focused, possess practical written and verbal communication skills, and be able to support change management initiatives.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Knowledge of CRM systems or ability to quickly learn CRM system
Ability to problem solve in real-time working with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to be adaptable to changing environments and business situations.
Ability to maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline oriented setting.

Qualifications


Education & Experience
College degree preferred or the equivalent level of education and experience processing a high volume of data. Previous experience working in a college or university admissions office is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of CRM systems or ability to quickly learn CRM system
Ability to problem solve in real-time working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities


Key Responsibility
Application Processing
Annually evaluate approximately 3,500 graduate applications.
Review applications to ensure supporting documentation has been provided and application is complete for admission decision review.
Perform credential conversion on international applications to 4.0 scale.
Complete application review and credential conversion with a 7-10 days of application completion date, especially during peak application periods.
Review admission decisions and process final review of applications within 48 hours of decision.

Key Responsibility
Post Decision Processing
Weekly review of final documents presented by admitted applicants and removal of holds in CRM
Maintain data integrity by correcting applicant and system errors.
Weekly review of error reports including but not limited to, name and DOB corrections, decision entry errors, technical errors and student type errors.
Assist other processing specialists with key responsibilities depending on time of year and volumes.
Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibility
Communication to Internal and External Stakeholders
Respond to internal and external communication within 2-5 business days, depending on the time of year and volume. External communication is managed within CRM via a queue system and is shared among all staff.
