Job Summary:
The Principal Research Scholar will participate in the design and execution of novel vaccine strategies for Dengue Fever, Chikungunya Fever, West Nile Fever and Zika Fever. Arrange pre-clinical vaccine trials with outside contractors, and monitor progress of these trials. Collaborate with other members of the research team to write reports and publications related to these trials.  
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology or related field and 5 years of experience in molecular virology and Arbovirus surveillance, detection and control, as a Deputy Director, Professor, Laboratory Head, Research Director, Researcher, or Consultant. Must have experience conducting research in biological electron microscopy including immunocytochemistry; experience conducting research with virus human pathogens in vitro and in animal models; experience conducting biochemical analysis of viral proteins and nucleic acids; experience collaborating with public health agencies in countries with Arbovirus circulation and experience conducting surveillance of mosquito born viruses; and a history of peer-reviewed journal publications.
