The Central Oklahoma region is the service area for this position. Pre-ETS Coordinator will provide direct instruction and teaching to High School age students with disabilities as documented by an IEP, 504 plan, or medical diagnosis, which makes them potentially eligible for services from Vocational Rehabilitation at a later date. Develop and/or utilize transition age curriculum and hands-on work experience to support youth with disabilities to increase successful transition from school to work or post-secondary education outcomes. The Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) includes activities/topics guided by the WIOA indicators: Workplace Readiness Training, Post-Secondary Counseling, Work Based Learning, Career Exploration and Self Advocacy. Individuals in this position are expected to provide quality services as assigned to eligible participants and assist with outreach to school district personnel, students, family members, state and community stakeholders.
Duties:
- Assists with curriculum development and design of training materials. Researches course design and methodologies. Assists in preparing content for courses, conferences, and other events.
- Assists in researching and developing curriculum. Develops and revises training manuals, trainer guides, and other support materials for courses.
- Assists in preparation of content and format for courses, conferences, and other training events.
- Tracks curricula in all steps of development, revision, production, release, and promotion.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to format and edit.
- Computer and research skills.
- Ability to perform highly detailed work.
