We are hiring motivated postdoctoral scientists interested in understanding RNA control of pain signaling. This position is in Zachary Campbell’s laboratory in the Department of Anesthesiology at UW-Madison and is fully funded by the NIH. The candidate should have a strong background in either Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Molecular and Cell Biology or a closely related field. Preferred skills: A high degree of motivation, detail oriented, organized, excellent communication written and verbal, time management skills, willingness to help train graduate students, ability to receive and provide feedback, collegiality, willingness to learn new methods, and strong ability to troubleshoot a broad array of problems. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable – mouse behavior, mammalian cell culture, tissue imaging, neuronal physiology, functional genomics and molecular genetics. Ideally, a strong track record of publications.
