A Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Drs. Conrad Hodgkinson and Victor Dzau at Duke University.

We are seeking to recruit a productive junior post doctorial associate with a demonstrated potential to develop an independent research career. The successful candidate will conduct independent studies in cardiovascular sciences, utilizing a wide range of innovative technologies to address a significant clinical problem. More specifically, we investigating the reprogramming of scar fibroblasts into cardiomyocytes in the infarcted heart via miRNAs and how the immune system impacts this process. Candidates with skills in miRNA research, RNA biology and immunology are strongly encouraged to apply. 

The lab is well funded and has been recognized for significant contributions to the field of cellular reprogramming and stem cell therapy. The cardiovascular division at Duke offers a highly diverse and collaborative academic environment with state of the art core facilities.
