Position Description:

Dr. Stanley Perlman is seeking a NIH-funded postdoctoral researcher position to study COVID-19 in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. Projects include studies of Long COVID-19, and T cell and immunological responses in mouse models of SARS-CoV-2 o. Much of the work is accomplished in a BSL3 laboratory. The Perlman laboratory is in an interdisciplinary and interactive department offering state-of-the-art equipment and core facilities.

Education Requirement:

  • Ph.D.

Required Qualifications:

  • Interest in neuroimmunology or neurovirology or T cell responses and other host immune responses to pathogens is required.

  • Experience in neurovirology, neuroimmunology or viral immunology is desired.
