Description

 

The postdoc scholar will participate in several research projects currently funded by the PI. This individual will also have the responsibility of carrying out independent research related to application of machine learning and data mining techniques to analyze multiple data modalities related to corneal disease, including imaging, genetic and clinical data.

 



Qualifications

 

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong background in machine learning, data mining, statistical analysis, and computational modeling; Experience with programming languages such as Python, R or similar, as well as familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn); Knowledge of ophthalmology, corneal diseases, or related medical fields is preferred but not required; Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams; Proven track record of research productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
