    Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience

    Position description

    The Computational Diagnostics lab at UCLA is seeking a researcher to join as a Postdoctoral Scholar to lead and collaborate on the development of machine learning methods applied to biomedical data. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Corey Arnold and a cross-disciplinary team of faculty, staff, and trainees. Individuals with expertise in digital pathology, radiology, spatial transcriptomics, and time series modeling are encouraged to apply.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead independent research projects and support collaborative projects.
    • Author scientific publications and grant proposals.
    • Supervise trainees and maintain research infrastructure.
    • Comply with UCLA guidelines for lab safety, animal research, and human subject research.
    • Develop and update standard operating procedures and best practices for research projects.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, present findings and progress both verbally and in writing.
