GENERAL DESCRIPTION | The RoboticsLab at Illinois Tech, led by Prof. Matthew Spenko, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scholar to conduct research for a 15-month project. The postdoc will work closely with Starfish Space, our collaborator, on a Space Force-funded project aimed at developing a universally compatible, non-destructive capture system for in-space docking in all orbits. Specifically, the postdoc will be responsible for the development of grippers that utilize gecko-like and hybrid gecko-like/electrostatic adhesion. |
