JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Electrical Engineering Department at Penn State is seeking a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in organic semiconductor thin films for use in optoelectronic and photonic devices. Qualifications should include hands-on, in-depth experience with the design, vacuum deposition, device fabrication, analysis, and characterization of devices such as OLEDs and photodetectors. Successful candidates should be able to work on independent research projects as well as lead graduate students within a larger team effort. Prospective candidates must have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, physics or associated field.
