Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire a cluster of six highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholars to carry out collaborative research in experimental and computational chemistry and chemical engineering as part of the project titled "Quantum Dynamics of Spin-Based Molecular Systems" funded by the US Department of Energy. The main responsibilities include conducting research in one of the following areas: electronic structure theory and molecular dynamics, optical and vibrational spectroscopies, magnetic measurements, synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry. Other responsibilities include guiding and advising graduate and undergraduate student researchers, and writing scholarly papers.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field by time of appointment.
Degree must have been received within the last five years.
