Position Summary: Two Postdoctoral Researcher positions are available immediately in the Department of Biology at University of Dayton for self-motivated scientists to study the molecular mechanisms of early eye patterning, birth defects, signaling and growth regulation during eye development. The positions are funded through a NIH grant to Amit Singh and Madhuri Kango-Singh. The candidate will be expected to work on the Drosophila model to study DV patterning in the developing eye.
Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biology, Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology or related field
Excellent written and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Drosophila genetics, Immunohistochemistry, Microscopy, Tissue culture and / or Biochemistry.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
PhD degree within the last 3 years.
Strong peer-reviewed publication(s) record.
