Job Summary:

Assigned specific duties and responsibilities pertaining to research activities by Principal Investigator or project leader. Normally, performs research activities of an independent nature in a technically/scientifically specific realm. May supervise other research personnel. Performs related duties as required. The nature of the duties require knowledge of an advanced type in a field of science or learning, are predominantly intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent exercise of discretion and judgment. An individual with this title WILL NOT be eligible to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI).

Responsibilities

This position is needed to perform research in microfluidics and sensors, microfabrication of microfluidic devices and miniaturized sensors, work together with other graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the laboratory, publish results in journals, and write project reports.
