Job Description

We are inviting applicants seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Texas A&M Master of Engineering Technical Management Leadership Development Group. The research will be developing new models at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and social science using innovative techniques to develop effective Technical Leaders as a part of the Master of Engineering Technical Management (METM) curriculum. Connecting Leadership and Artificial Intelligence (AI), find out how AI technology can amplify current leadership practices to improve individual, team, and organizational leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines, with a focus on artificial intelligence for effective technical leadership development in support of METM students' leadership development plan.

  • Build new benchmarks and frameworks to analyze performance of learning methods across relevant metrics in support of quality assurance for the METM program.

  • Contribute to educational research that can lead to publications in top-tier publications, thereby highlighting the significance of the METM program as a high-end educational program.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • PhD

Preferred Education:

  • PhD in field of Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.

Required Experience:

  • No experience required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches.

  • Experience manipulating and analyzing data from varying sources.

  • Experience communicating research.

  • Research and software engineer experience demonstrated via an internship, work experience, coding competitions.
