Job Description:


The Syracuse University Open-Source Project Office (SU-OSPO) is seeking a postdoc to oversee the scientific aspects of open-source software development on campus. The SU-OSPO is a new office with funding support provided by the Sloan Foundation. The qualified candidate will assist the OSPO director in establishing the office, develop educational materials related to open-source development for the university community, provide training to faculty and students on open-work best practices, and stay abreast of developments in the open-source community. The candidate is also encouraged to pursue their own research in their domain of expertise.
