Position Summary:
The Villanova Center for Resilient Water Systems (VCRWS) is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral researcher.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will conduct research on multidisciplinary research projects to support the integration of community engagement into the identification and continual operational performance assessment of green stormwater infrastructure, along with project oversight of field and laboratory data collection, quality assurance and control, and analysis of several green stormwater infrastructure sites. The candidate will have opportunities to interact with collaborators from across the college, university, and other academic institutions, state, and federal agencies. The candidate will also be expected to assist in the training and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students, assisting with the preparation of project reports, and disseminating results in journal publications and conferences. Teaching opportunities can be arranged if the candidate desires.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
  • a Ph.D. degree in water resources engineering, civil and/or environmental engineering or closely related field
  • experience in field monitoring techniques and data analysis
  • experience in data analytics and water resources modelling
  • good organizational and communication skills
  • a strong track record of refereed journal publications
  • the ability to work independently and communicate proactively

The individual must be highly motivated with strong written and oral communication skills.
