The Department of Pathology at Columbia University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to work in the lab of Dr. Andrew Yates. The successful candidate will develop and test mathematical, statistical and computational models of lymphocyte population dynamics and fate determination, using data from experimental collaborators.
This position requires strong quantitative skills. Applicants with a PhD in mathematics, biostatistics, engineering or physics are encouraged to apply. Ability to program efficiently in R, Python, C++, Matlab, or Mathematica will be an advantage. A familiarity with basic immunology is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A commitment to interdisciplinary science and an enthusiasm and aptitude for communicating with experts outside your field is essential.

Ph.D. / M.D.  
PhD in mathematics, biostatistics, engineering, physics or similar. Alternatively, a PhD in the biological sciences with evidence of strong quantitative skills.
