GSK’s approach to oncology is focused on innovation in the areas of immuno-oncology, cell therapy, tumor cell targeting, synthetic lethality. 


 


The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow (fellow) will join the Global Medical Information team for a two-year commitment, where they will be immersed in all Global Medical Affairs activities. The focus of the fellowship will be in Medical Information followed by 3-month rotations available in various Global Medical Affairs functions including: Oncology Program Strategy & Engagement, Scientific Communications, Medical & Scientific Director, Early Innovation & Alliances, Business Planning & Operations, and Global Medical Affairs Research. During the rotation period, the fellow will be expected to dedicate at least 25% of their time to supporting the Global Medical Information Team. The fellow will also have the opportunity to learn about various industry functions such as Pharmacovigilance, Value Evidence & Outcomes, Clinical Development, or the Commercial Organization through longitudinal projects. Rotations may be extended at the discretion of the rotation supervisor. 



Responsibilities: 



Global Medical Information:  


Example Job Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to: 


Develop cross-functional relationships across the organization through implementation of the Global Medical Strategy  

Develop medical response letters, slide decks, infographics, videos and literature summaries for both internal and external stakeholders 

Provide medical review support of medical and promotional materials for the copy approval committees  

Support medical information call center training and escalations and analyze medical information request metrics 

Attend major medical congresses, including ASHP, SITC, SGO, ASH, ASCO; attend sessions and medical education symposia and provide summary reports.  

Develop pre- and post-authorization payer dossiers and submissions to guideline compendia and pathway companies 


 



Qualifications: 



Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts. 



 
Preferred Qualifications: 



 Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at the industry site and Northeastern.
