A postdoctoral scholar "postdoc" is an individual holding a doctoral degree who is engaged in a temporary and defined period, typically less than 5 years, of mentored research and/or advanced scholarly training for the purpose of acquiring the professional skills needed to pursue a career path of his/her choosing.
Performs research under the supervision and mentorship of a more senior researcher, often called the postdoctoral advisor. Ideal candidate will have experience in surgical procedures, especially in cardiovascular surgery, including coronary artery bypass graft; candidate should be able to work with swine model of coronary artery bypass graft, coronary and carotid artery interventions, including balloon angioplasty and intravascular stenting
Please note, this position will require working with swine ranging from 18 to 220 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation and in some instances 75 lbs.  
Doctorate Degree;
1-3 years' experience; prefer individual who has cardiovascular experience
