Job Summary
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the School of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas, in the field of Analytic Number Theory. This is a 12 month research position with no teaching load. The initial appointment is for one year, with a possibility of renewal for a second year. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Rizwanur Khan on his NSF project (CAREER DMS- 2341239) on L-functions and automorphic forms.
Review of applications will begin on January 15 and will continue until the position is filled.
Minimum Education and Experience

Ph.D in a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience
1. PhD dissertation in Analytic Number Theory, preferably involving L-functions and automorphic forms.
2. The successful candidate will preferably have already authored peer reviewed research papers in the field of analytic number theory.
3. Experience in giving and/or organizing research talks
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct research with Dr. Rizwanur Khan on his NSF project in the field of analytic number theory (L-functions and automorphic forms). This will involve investigating research problems, writing research papers, giving and organizing research talks.
