Job Summary
The Ma Research Lab in the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi is searching for postdoctoral research associate candidates with expertise in computational research. The associate will conduct research in polymer science, work closely with the rest of the team, and present research results at meetings and conferences.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields, with experience in computational research.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of polymer science and engineering, proficient in Python and/or other programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in molecular modeling using LAMMPS, GROMACS, and/or other related software, expertise in finite element analysis simulations.
