The position requires a doctorate degree in ecology, Earth or environmental sciences, or a related field; strong quantitative skills; experience with field equipment and data loggers, some experience in urban systems and a valid driver’s license. Candidates are expected to have strong curiosity, self-motivation and capacity for independent work, with demonstrated writing and oral communication skills. Knowledge of coding in Python, R or Matlab are a plus but preference will be given to candidates with strong records of community engagement and urban ecology.
