Position Highlights

The Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking talented applicants to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the field of computational 3D imaging on specular surfaces. Applicants should have a strong track record of research and publication in several related fields. Strong skills and background in Deflectometry and other 3D imaging principles and their novel applications are a plus. Strong programming skills are highly valued (see minimum qualifications below).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design new 3D imaging principles and experiments for various applications.
  • Write scientific papers and technical reports.
  • Advise and co-advise students on their scientific research projects together with the PI.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Optics or Electrical Engineering or related field upon hire.
  • Previous extensive research experience in incoherent computational 3D imaging principles including but not limited to triangulation based and slope measurement methods.
  • Previous experience in working on industrial and VR related applications of computational 3D imaging, in particular eye tracking.
  • Demonstrated experience working on neuromorphic sensing.
  • Demonstrated experience developing novel 3D-iming based eye-tracking methods
