Position Summary

The Applied Optics Lab at James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences within The University of Arizona, is looking for a self-motivated postdoctoral research fellow with a strong passion for research in biomedical optical imaging. The research focus will be on developing advanced imaging techniques. The successful candidates will have an excellent opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, apply their skills in new areas, and learn design, fabrication and testing of advanced optical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take a leading role in the development of:

  • Imaging techniques for biomedical and other optical applications.
  • Computational imaging techniques for biomedical and optical imaging applications.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics or related field.
  • Familiar with biomedical optical imaging techniques.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computational imaging methodologies.
