Qualifications

Required Education:

Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology or related field.

Preferred Experience:

 Radiation safety, Biosafety level II.

Sufficient experience in methods and techniques to work with plant molecular genetics, experience with protein, RNA, DNA.

Advanced confocal microscopy techniques, proximity labeling based proteomics.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Transgenic plants, cell culture, CRISPR, genomic manipulation, gene knockouts, molecular cloning, and cre recombinase.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Job Responsibilities

20%: Molecular genetics. DNA cloning

40%: transgenic plants and phenotypic analysis.

25% protein expression, interaction assays, and proteomics

10%: Regular Lab book maintenance, techniques and protocol design records and description. Group meeting discussion.

5%: Performs other duties as assigned.
