What you need to know

Required Education and Experience:

  • Appropriate PhD

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Programming skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • PhD in Statistics, Data Science, or a scientific or engineering field focusing on data analysis/inference

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and present research in the area of statistical modeling in wavelet domains
  • Write and publish papers, collaborate with researchers within TAMU on topics from the research area
  • Create software for wide dissemination of the research
  • Perform other duties as assigned
