What We Want

The Carbon Cycle and Earth Environment (CACEE) Lab in the Department of Oceanography at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position, offering a unique opportunity to explore river-lake-atmosphere-sediment system interactions and their responses to enhanced rock weathering. The position will engage in the "Global Ocean and Land Alkalinization (GOAL-A)" project, funded by the Department of Energy's Earth Shot initiative and led by top scientists from Yale, Georgia Tech, Princeton, and Texas A&M. The position will delve into the geochemical and ecological shifts, carbon cycling alterations, and elemental flux modulations within the river-lake-atmosphere-sediment system due to enhanced rock weathering. If this job description sounds interesting to you, we invite you to apply to be considered for this opportunity.
