What We Want

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and presenting research on statistical methodology.  As a member of the team, this position will write and publish papers in collaboration with other research team members. What You Need to Know

Salary Range: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.

Required Education and Experience:

• Appropriate PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or a related quantitative field

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Excellent programming, communication, and writing skills

• Previous research experiences in modern statistics, machine learning, and statistical genetics/genomics/omics

• Ability to perform methodological and collaborative research

Responsibilities:

• Research: Conduct and present research on projects related to the topic of flexible Bayesian modeling of high-dimensional complex biological and biomedical data.

• Writing, Publishing, and Collaboration: Writes and publishes papers. Collaborates with researchers within TAMU on the topics from the research area.

• Creating Software: Creates software for wide dissemination of the research and performs other duties as assigned.
