Required Education and Experience:

  • Appropriate PhD

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Expertise in Bayesian data modeling and computation

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • PhD in statistics or in related fields.
  • Experience in Bayesian computation with complex and big data, handling of neuroimaging datasets
  • Experience in multi-core computation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and present research in the area of statistical modeling for multi-modal neuroimaging data.
  • Write and publish papers, collaborate with researchers within TAMU and researchers in the University of California San Francisco on the topics from the research area.
  • Create software for wide dissemination of the research
  • Performs other duties as assigned
