Qualifications

Required Education:

Appropriate PhD

Required Experience:

Preferred Education:

Recent PhD with strong publications in molecular biology, RNA biology and related fields.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work in the fields of cancer biology is a plus.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

Excellent verbal and written communication skills – in English – and be capable of working within a team of wet and dry lab researchers.

Job Responsibilities: 

Research

Perform hypothesis driven research with a clear understanding and use of controls. Preform experiments at the bench level to support investigative work, potentially including, but not limited to molecular biology assays, DNA sequencing, PCR amplification, RT-PCR amplification, TC culture, BLS2/3 work, CRISPR/Cas9 screening and editing, and analysis of results

Data Compilation

Recover, compile and verify accuracy of research data, Interpret and report on experimental results. Operate analytical instruments

Records Management

Perform and modify documented protocols and assays

Maintain laboratory records and compile data on experiments and assays

Data and Presentations

Present your research through grants, manuscripts, easy to interpret figures, and presentations (oral/poster).
