The Machine Learning Department (MLD) within the School of Computer Science is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the team. MLD occupies a privileged position in the world of machine learning, in part, as the world's only academic Machine Learning Department, and has close relationships through shared faculty and active collaboration across the university. In this role you will work on overarching problems in peer review and other human-evaluation systems, such as using theory and experimentation to design the overall structure in these applications.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conduct research experiments within the predetermined research scope and methodology of department and university.
• Collect and analyze data, including periodical/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze the collected data.
• Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations.  May also assist in grant writing.
• Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies may be required depending on area and specialty.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree
• Strong analytic, problem-solving, reasoning, and communication skills.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
