Job Description

Position Summary

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position at Washington University in St. Louis, to work on the NIH funding Human Connectome Project Development. The ideal candidate will have strong computational and imaging analysis skills and a background in or interest in understanding brain development. The candidate will work with a team of HCP investigators to identify trajectories of structural and functional brain development as a function of age, gender, puberty and their interactions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze trajectories of structural and functional brain development as a function of age, gender, puberty and their interactions.     
  • Write manuscript reporting on the results of the analyses described in duty number one.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. (or about to be awarded one) in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, with a background that includes structural and/or functional neuroimaging. 
  • Substantial experience with neuroimaging analysis.
  • Additional skills in developmental science and programming, as well as strong statistical skills.
  • Strong programming and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
