Princeton University and the African School of Economics (ASE) have an opening for postdoctoral research associates or more senior researchers to participate in a number of projects in political economy and development economics.  The projects are part of the research portfolio of the Institutional Experimental Lab (IEL) and the Political Economy and Development Research Hub, a collaboration between Princeton University and ASE funded by the Dean of Research of Princeton University.  The thematic areas of the Hub include institutional experimentation,  historical applied microeconomics, economics of education and behavioral political economy among others. 
The IEL is recruiting a candidate who will play a major role in pushing the research agenda of the Hub by helping design  and implement its projects  as well as developing partnerships with governments and private corporations from around the world to get them implemented and scaled up.
 
We are looking for candidates with a PhD in economics, management, political economy, or related areas with expertise either in game theory, applied microeconomics, behavioral economics, or experimental methods. The term of this appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
