Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Chemistry is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a research team. The candidate will contribute to a project aimed to advance the fundamental understanding of electronic and optical properties of atomically precise metal nanocluster materials.
Core Responsibilities will include:
- Femtosecond spectroscopy and cryogenic measurements of atomically precise nanoclusters and assembled materials.
- Quantum emitting properties of luminescent nanoclusters.
- Scientific communication and publishing research findings in reputable journals.
- Mentoring students as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Strong background in time-resolved and cryogenic spectroscopy.
- Experience in quantum optics research.
