What we want

What you need to know

Grant Funded: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Appropriate doctoral degree

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong research background including first-author publication(s) or preprint(s)
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Phd in neuroscience, biology, or a related field
  • Prior experience working with rodents

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in systems neuroscience, circadian biology, and/or programming

Responsibilities:

  • Executing research experiments and analyzing results
  • Maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook, writing manuscripts, presenting findings, and contributing to grant proposals.
  • Training new personnel on lab procedures.
  • General laboratory duties such as purchasing supplies, animal colony maintenance, research equipment maintenance, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
