Position Qualification


Position Summary
A Postdoctoral Research Associate in infectious disease outbreak response in the research laboratory of Associate Professor Michael Wiley, PhD, in the Department of Pathology & Microbiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center. Research will focus on building tools and methods for sample processing, pathogen identification and characterization in austere settings. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, independent, rigorous, and hypothesis-driven scientist who will be expected to participate in training of graduate students, lab meetings, and other duties appropriate to the applicant’s career goals.
