Position Highlights

The University of Arizona's MSE department is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in 1D and 2D materials synthesis, vacuum systems, and electrical and magnetic property measurements. Under the supervision of Prof. Zafer Mutlu, the successful candidate will focus on graphene nanoribbon synthesis, characterization, and nanoelectronic devices. The one-year term is extendable based on performance and funding.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • work on the nanodevice fabrication and characterization of graphene nanoribbons
  • work on the bottom-up synthesis and characterization of graphene nanoribbons on the surface
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD degree Materials Science or a relevant field.
  • Selected candidate must have Ph.D. conferred upon hire.
